Acceptable Use Policy
Discreet Careers is a recruitment platform for the UK adult industry. This policy sets out how the site may be used, what is not allowed, and what happens when someone breaks the rules.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
1. Who This Applies To
This policy applies to everyone who uses Discreet Careers — candidates, employers, and anyone browsing the site without an account.
It sits alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Content Policy and 18+ Policy. Using the site means accepting all of them.
2. What The Platform Is For
Discreet Careers exists for one purpose: advertising and applying for legal work in the UK adult industry.
- Employers advertising genuine, legal vacancies
- Candidates browsing roles and applying to them
- Employers and candidates communicating about a specific role
- Reading our guides and safety information
It is a job board and recruitment platform. It is not a services directory, a marketplace, a dating or hook-up site, or a place to publish adult content.
3. Prohibited Use
You must not use Discreet Careers to:
- Advertise or solicit illegal work of any kind
- Advertise sexual services, or use a listing to sell services rather than recruit
- Post, share or link to adult, explicit or sexual content
- Involve, depict or attempt to recruit anyone under 18
- Pressure, coerce, threaten, traffic or exploit any person
- Harass, abuse, bully or discriminate against anyone
- Impersonate another person, business or Discreet Careers itself
- Post false, misleading or deliberately incomplete information
- Request money, fees or deposits from candidates
- Ask for payment details, ID or intimate images as part of an application
4. Rules For Employers
If you post roles on Discreet Careers, you must:
- Represent a real business and give accurate company details
- Advertise only genuine vacancies you are actually recruiting for
- State pay, hours and location honestly — no bait-and-switch
- Never charge a candidate a fee, deposit or training cost to apply or start
- Keep listings free of explicit content, images and language
- Handle applicant data lawfully and use it only for that vacancy
- Verify that every person you hire through the site is 18 or over
Every employer account is reviewed before it can post, and every listing is read before it goes live. Material edits to a live listing go back through moderation.
5. Rules For Candidates
If you apply for work through Discreet Careers, you must:
- Be 18 or over
- Give accurate information about yourself and your experience
- Use your own identity — one person, one account
- Apply only for roles you have a genuine interest in
- Keep messages to employers professional and relevant to the role
- Never upload explicit images or content to your profile or an application
6. Security And Technical Restrictions
You must not:
- Scrape, harvest or bulk-collect listings, profiles or contact details
- Use bots, crawlers or automated tools against the site without our written permission
- Attempt to access accounts, data or areas you are not authorised to reach
- Probe, scan or test the security of the platform without permission
- Upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt or damage the service
- Interfere with the site's normal operation or overload our systems
- Reverse engineer or copy any part of the platform
Responsible security research is welcome — contact us first at hello@discreetcareers.co.uk rather than testing against the live site.
7. Reporting Misuse
If you see a listing, employer, message or account that breaks this policy, tell us. Reports can be made without an account, and you can leave your email out if you would rather stay anonymous.
- Use the Report a Concern form — it reaches our support inbox directly
- Or email us at hello@discreetcareers.co.uk
- Include the listing, employer or username where you can
- We aim to respond within 24 hours
In an emergency, or if someone is at immediate risk, contact the police on 999 first.
8. Enforcement
Where we find this policy has been broken, we may take any of the following steps, depending on what happened:
- Ask for changes before a listing can go live
- Remove a listing, message or piece of content
- Issue a warning to the account holder
- Suspend an account while we investigate
- Remove verified status from an employer
- Close an account permanently
- Report the matter to the police or another authority
We do not have to warn you first, and we may act on a single serious breach. Where it is safe and appropriate to do so, we will tell you what happened and why.
9. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform develops or the law changes. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version.
10. Contact Us
Questions about this policy, or unsure whether something is allowed? Ask us before you post — we would rather answer a question than remove a listing.
Email hello@discreetcareers.co.uk or use the Contact page.
Thank you for keeping Discreet Careers professional.
These rules exist so candidates can apply with confidence and genuine employers are not lumped in with anyone who signs up.
